Hello everyone! I'm Lilia, the Editor-in-Chief for Gradaran Literary Magazine. I am very pleased to announce that we have opened submissions for our first issue, "***Pan's Flute***"! We're a lit mag based around mythology and folk literature. Think tales passed by generations, and myths from around the world. We're into everything from Greek Mythology all the way to legends, fairy tales, and folklore. For our first issue, we are seeking such works relating to springtime. Whether that be myths relating to the spring (looking at you, Persephone), or tales of love, or rebirth, or just explaining natural occurences. We welcome retellings/new perspectives on existing works of literature (such as a new view on a folk tale or myth) or one you've created yourself! Perhaps you'd like to tell us the tale of the critters around the creek in a forest? Or maybe why the stars are in the night sky? We welcome it all. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1206170971485241344/1206433548135829504/for_instagram.png?ex=65dbfdcc&is=65c988cc&hm=8a4f89234dbca85250c8a34ccfbfb7e9e52b053af186395c9b0a4a6794fca8f3&

Hi, since tropical climate like where I came from doesn't necessarily have spring (we just have two seasons), would you mind if I send in a myth surrounding bodies of water? We have plenty here

Gradaran Literary Magazine welcomes you to apply to our second issue, "Aurora". *Aurora. The Roman goddess of dawn. Sleeping Beauty in fairytales. Northern lights. We're seeking works that remind us of our childhood. Whether that be the harsh transition into adulthood, or reminiscence, we want it all. Share with us those fairytales you loved, or create new ones. Explore the wonders of nature, and delve into the coming summer. Fireflies, getting carried to bed from the car, and the lulling sound of crickets yearn to be brought forth in this issue. Write a letter to your child self. Maybe your adult self.* *Just write.* SUBMISSIONS CLOSE MAY 31, 2024
