see i get where they had that idea, because of how many people want to spend an entire class/workshop defending their work based on what they didn't write, like "if you think that then you didn't understand because i meant something else," and it makes the workshop ineffective and frustrating for everyone involved, but there's definitely better ways to solve that problem
