So many platforms are based on usage. And well, it’s probably a logical model for making money, but hell, if like 5 years later we decide to become ultra rich from our submission manager and live on some fancy island, I promise we’re gonna make it a separate business hahah. I’ve never seen someone do like an industry based pricing, but it seems like such a fair idea (of course it complicates the book keeping and all, but still) IT companies can clearly afford expensive tools. Small indie journals clearly can’t. Why the hell are you charging them thousands of dollars lol
