i don't know what the right or wrong answer is here, but i'm a volunteer reader for a litmag and i tend to be distracted by any lines in a Word doc. If there are aren't any that's great, but on occasion writers have forgotten to accept track changes (every now and again) and for obvious reasons that interrupts my reading.
