Maybe "guilty" isn't the word I'd use, but I think everybody who spends much time on their craft has a few favorites that you just don't care too much what other people think of them. And a few that no matter how you work on them or how good the feedback might be ... they still seem disappointingly unfinished. Both types of pieces might or might not be translatable to some readers.
