Out of curiosity, what sort of thing puts you off a submission call? I don't mean ones that look like they might be a bit sketchy or raise red flags, but just have something in the call that is a no for you, or feels like too much work, etc. For me I was just going to submit to a mag, but the response time is minimum six months and they don't reply if you are unsuccessful. Maybe I'm just having a lazy day lol, I just saw that and thought, ugh can't be arsed.
