Some places will ask you to mention your previous publications, while others will specifically say they don't want that, but they want to know about the person behind the story. I think making one of each would be beneficial; that way, you have them ready to go, and all you have to do is pick the one that fits the bio requirements of the publisher. (Some don't have requirements, so you can pick the one you like most.)
