If anyone's interested, here's a list of lit mags that accept free submission. This list was made by the mighty writer Sage Tyrtle and can also be helpful for folks who are unsure where to start subbing in the lit mag jungle, as it's based off Erica Krouse's (in)famous lit mag rankings. In addition, pretty much all genre mags are free to sub. I encourage everyone to avoid pay-to-sub markets!
