I’ve always loved WordPress for dynamic sites that offer a ton of flexibility with all the available plugins that exist. As for essential pages, I have a landing page, an About Me page, a writing portfolio page, a page specific to my book, and a page with a contact form. And as far as nonessential pages go, I have a blog that, at this point, I only update once a year with an annual favorite reads post.
