Question for everyone on a writing challenge. Last year, we tried a music-based ekphrastic challenge ... listen to a track, write your reaction. Since I'm a massive opera nerd, I loaded the list with some short pieces, vastly overestimating how appealing that would be. Short version: it was not. 🤣 We had a better response rate to some light D&B and electroswing tracks. I'd like to try this again at some point, since it could be a lot of fun. If anyone thinks of short tracks that seem like they'd spark some interesting poetry, feel free to drop some links here. Any genre, any style.
