Yes, we spent a lot of time trying to make our guidelines as clear as we could, but it felt like as we got submissions for our first issue, we kept thinking of more and more things to add. We don't say much about themes though, and haven't had too many problems. Plus, if you asked me if I wanted a poem about cannibalism, I would have said hard pass, and yet we're about to publish a really good poem about cannibalism 😂
