It really does. I think as a group, the other editors in my space agree that any time a piece of written art is presented to an audience, it's a reprint, regardless of format. Pro rates are paid for work that has never been seen/heard before. As an editor trying to run a business (regardless of how far we are from profitability, lol), I can't reasonably justify purchasing something that has already been made available. Also, high-5, fellow neurodiverse person!
