Hi everyone, first time commenting here. Can anyone share with me resources about how to pitch nonfiction? I have an essay/article idea but I don't know how to pitch it to a lit mag, do they ask you for a synopsis, query letter, or pitch line? Also, do you have to write the article before pitching it or do you have to pitch it and wait to know if they are interested (as when you pitch a nonfiction book)?
