okay, i don't know how many other visual artists are in here, but I want to get opinion on something as I'm also branching out into starting my own online publication...i had a piece of art accepted, and only discovered it was selected for the cover when they sent out the proofs. i'm thrilled, but in the past i've had the publications ask if i'm okay with it first. i'm not mad that they didn't, and i can't imagine circumstances where i wouldn't be thrilled to be on a cover, but just because i can't imagine it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. thoughts? opinions?
