Seconding (thirding? fourthing? joining in the chorus!) as a visual artist. I basically stopped sharing my work on my social media last year once I started submitting it to online journals. It's ended up shooting myself in the foot, as now if people do see it in a pub and go check out my links, there's not a lot there!
