i think affirming that i'm in the ride or die place when i submit is where i need to be. i have had a tendency to go into submission sort of halfcocked when i've gotten bored of a piece or run out of answers for myself, then use rejection as a fuel for finding more answers which has not felt sustainable lately! i've gotten better with identifying my intentions ahead of time, then chasing those down in crafting the piece, etc., but i'm not exactly accustomed to feeling so locked in when it comes time to submit. something to stay aware of i guess!
