I do appreciate the no cover letter requirement for certain pubs. I've thought about suggesting it for Unmooring but I'm not the main editor. Especially since we use a submission manager (duotrope in our case) so it already has the relevant info. But since it's a requirement it's really just an exercise in "did this person even bother to read the requirements" more than anything else.
