hi @Cailey @ Last Leaves Mag, i always enjoy when an author speaks on their work a little bit and speaks a little bit about themself and their process. it's great to hear the work read aloud - excerpts, full poems - but it's always good to get to know the writer a little better; it's nice to know their own perspectives on the themes which they've addressed, the anecdotes or stories which have gone into certain poems, an insight into the time of their life in which some of the works were produced in. it's always so interesting to learn more about the work than to have it just read to you engaging with the audience in some way is always very good, i feel :)) sorry if that's not anything new to hear 😅 good luck this weekend!
