Did they confirm acceptance when you sent the very first acceptance letter? We have folks fill out a form to confirm they still want to publish with us, and then I go through edits/revisions with the writer. If a writer doesn’t respond to an initial acceptance letter, I’ll send maybe two followups but, if there’s still no response, I treat it as if the piece has been withdrawn.
