I'm a nonfiction writer who loves to read horror... so back before the pandemic, I tried my hand at writing a short horror story. It's since been rejected by 12 different places. But today, I just got a message that it had been accepted by a magazine I sent it to back in November 2021! Such a delightful bit of news for a Sunday. Maybe this means I shouldn't give up on fiction entirely... 😂
