Just an update but the reading went really well!! It was a lovely energy and we were all very supportive of each other, which is always an extra nice bonus. And I’m sorry to get a little personal but my nai nai (paternal grandmother) passed away last week, a couple days before the reading, and unfortunately I can’t afford a plane ticket to attend the funeral. So at the reading, I was very touched that I got to include a last-minute piece I’ve started about her and how much she meant to me. The audience was very kind and receptive and it meant a lot to me 🖤
