Posted about a week ago that I was about to launch my poetry book with a reading at my childhood library. Aside from my spouse, mom, and sister, I had one person attend. I guess reading to a nearly empty room is sort of a rite of passage, right? Not exactly a rejection, but it sure felt like one.
