Okay, this isn't a rejection but it definitely feels like one. My book was published with an indie press about a year ago. I only had a print run of about 200 copies, and I had to do all the editing and marketing, plus the majority of the cover design. Then the publisher says because I didn't sell more than 150 copies, I'm not entitled to royalties, since the cost of printing didn't make up for what the book earned. Quote from the email: "Sorry, but you didn't get any royalties because you didn't earn them."
