I’m a bit ticked off by this lit mag im an editor for. they preached solicited submissions for days and it was allll anyone would hear at our meetings “solicit solicit solicit!” and then… they reject the pieces we solicit? like on one hand i get it but do you really think that guarantees us doing it again in the future? Not everyone gets the courage to go back and submit a piece to the same mag again and it reallyyy makes things awkward.
