Me again! When y'all next update the tracker, please consider adding a "never responded" category in addition to the existing In Progress, Accepted, Rejected, and Withdrawn categories.
The rationale: No responses aren't the same as rejections. Publications that don't send a simple form rejection demonstrate lack of respect for a creator's effort/work (like being ghosted when you apply for a job and never hear whether you got it). At least a form rejection demonstrates that the publication respects the creator enough to take the time to acknowledge the effort that went into the rejected work.
(I've worked on the editor's side of several different submission systems/methods: it really isn't hard to send a rejection. It really isn't.)
