I may be repeating what others have said, but there will always be a place! It's tough to have work rejected when you've put so much time and effort into it, and going from hope to rejection repeatedly can be so exhausting Have faith, though; often the rejection may not be anything necessarily to do with the quality of your work itself but, rather, the tastes/theme/capacity of the publisher/magazine you're sending it to, for reasons which people have already outlined above extensively
