Chiming in with a thought ... is there a reasonable way to separate acceptance rate per piece versus per submission versus per author? For our zine, the numbers for each look really different, since we let people send in essentially as many pieces as they want. The acceptance rate per piece is like barely 1%, but per submission or author, closer to what I think is average enough.
